Damsel In Desserts

Experimenting with desserts can be risky, but Bani Nanda probably wouldn’t have got where she is today by playing it safe. The founder of Miam is a visionary, pastry queen and dog lover.

She’s had an exciting journey, having graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and then worked as a pastry chef in The Oberoi before starting her own bakery at 25. You can check out her Instagram and drool over her stunning creations, they’re literally straight out of a Parisan fairytale.

Behind The Kitchen Door

While Bani’s desserts are truly a work of art, and she’s bold and unapologetic when it comes to experimenting with different styles and combinations for her cakes and macaroons. She’s actually a lover of all things simple. {Heck, she’s been going to the same hairdresser for over 10 years at Geetanjali.}

When Bani’s not sipping on Blue Tokai coffee, she’s either walking her doggo Zoey in Lodhi Garden or going for a run at Siri Fort or finding funky shoes at Zara.

What's In Bani's Little Black Book?

1. Evoo Pizzeria is Bani’s latest find, and she’s in love with their delish panuozzos and minimalist interiors. 2. K.R. Stationers in Hauz Khas Market, particularly for their expansive collection of pens and planners. 3. Lavaash for their mouth-watering pide, awesome Armenian flavours and beautiful lush green outdoors.
