What Is It?

The fifth National Street Food Festival is happening at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium {Dec 23 - 25} and a gifted set of chaat waalas from 25 Indian states are coming, armed with chutneys and garnish of all kinds. Drooling now, are we?

Who Is It For?

It’s a safe place for all those who’ve been mocked at for their gluttonous appetites… you’ll meet so many like you attacking grub like there’s no tomorrow.

Why Should I Go For It?

While saddi Dilli has a buzzing chaat scene, it’s great to sample small bites from the north-east or down south without actually taking a train to these places, right? We hear that 500 vendors will come with portable kitchens to offer everything between snacks and main course.

You’ll be eating the best of Indian streets at an entry fee of just INR 80 per person a day. After you’ve eaten too much, you can sit and listen to Indian Ocean {Dec 23} and other rock bands, and remind yourself that healthy eating can wait till Jan 2017.

Anything Else?

The fest is being backed by Project Clean Street Food which means hygiene nazis can heave a sigh of {oil-laden} relief.

You can take your mummy along ‘cuz she can catch Sanjeev Kapoor of Khaana Khazaana to discuss gharelu recipes with him. And while she does that, you can gawk at Kunal Kapur. In short, everything here's going to be yum.
