Rome’s Kitchen is a newly opened eatery in Karkardooma’s Kharbanda Complex that’s winning for its comforting Italian food, pocket-friendly prices and hearty portions. Good food’s nothing without good service which is where the owner of Rome’s gets brownie points for his hospitality. Now really, what’s not to love here?

Penne-chant For Pasta?

We all crave for a good cheesy pasta or a meaty thin crust pizza once in a while and for the times when you can’t afford the good ol’ Big Chill, give Rome’s Kitchen in East Delhi a shot.

Just a month old, this cubby outlet with a gondola wallpaper is run by a couple who’ve just moved out of Dubai and because of their passion for food, have opened up an eatery serving Italian favourites like pastas, pizzas, bruschettas and more.

We tried Rome’s signature non-vegetarian Pink Sauce Pasta {which was actually light orange in colour} and were rather impressed by something that sounded so ordinary. The pasta was a hearty meal generously loaded with broccoli, black olives, chunks of chicken, sausages and a whole lotta creamy sauce making it rank high on any Italian food lover’s list of comfort food.

They also offer veggie and coleslaw bruschettas with cheese, and non-vegetarians can choose from shredded chicken, chicken ham and sausage bruschetta too. Yes, they had us at meat and cheese. We’ve also heard great things about their crispy thin-crust Margherita, Garden and Meat Lover’s Pizzas we’re certainly coming back for.

So, We're Saying..

Serving the Italian comfort food of our dreams, we’ve bookmarked Rome’s Kitchen for cheat days. We’re ready for round two and suggest that you feast in the East sometime soon too.
