Shortcut

Captain’s Table in Sector 14 market may not look like much from the outside, but step in for baked treats that will transport you to another era.

Aye, Aye Captain

Wooden shelves lined with pizza bases and biscuits greet customers at Captain’s Table. Since seating is limited to three tables, this bakery is ideal for a dine-and-dash break or cake-to-go. A full section of their display is dedicated to biscuits – light-as-air naan khatai {or nankhatai}, butter pistachio cookies, cake rusks and butter almond cookies.

As Easy As Pie

Captain’s Table also does some unique pies – think guava, honey almond or marmalade. Other old-school treats include rum balls and the infamous cream rolls {make sure you head here post 2pm, the cream rolls are baked fresh everyday and were not ready when we dropped by}.

On a diet and can’t eat cake? Let them have bread! No, seriously pick up a loaf of their freshly-baked breads and sip on some coffee, while you’re there.

So, We're Saying...

Easy on the pocket but big on taste, Captain’s Table’s goodies do not disappoint.
