What is it ?

Since its inception in 2011, Festival of the Northeast {Cultures of Peace} has been organised by Zubaan, in collaboration with the Heinrich Boll Foundation. The festival, hosted in different cities, seeks to create a vibrant space to showcase the diversity of India's Northeast through expressive art forms.

For the second consecutive year, Amaltas Hall in the India Habitat Centre will witness a series of workshops and seminars where people will engage in dialogue to voice pertinent issues related to the Northeast.

Who is it for?

Anyone and everyone who's willing to appreciate and understand the nuances and politics of the Northeast through stimulating panel discussions.

Why should I go for it?

To witness a melange of renowned scholars, researchers and media professionals come together to discuss gender, linguistic diversity and narrative traditions.
