There’s an Asian joint almost everywhere you go in the city but few do dim sums and cheung fun like Dao does. They’ve added a bunch of stuff to their menu and we’re digging it.

What's New?

We’re going to be straight with you- we hadn’t tried much at Dao beyond those dim sums {the duck with  hoisin sauce and the prawn spinach..mmm}. When we heard about the new menu however, we grudgingly created some space in our tummies for beyond dim sums.

They’ve added a ton of soups, salads, appetisers, curries, seafood, stir fries and meats to the mix.

We’re loving the Crispy Prawn cheung fun rolls, with a dash of Dao’s in-house chilli paste, the Raw Papaya Salad {which is at the same time, crispy, tangy and subtly sweet} and the Sliced Chicken. End with nothing else but the water chestnut, coconut and jasmine-infused Tub Tim Krob.

So, We're Saying...

If you’re looking for a swanky place to dine at without prices that’ll send you hurling into debt, Dao’s a safe bet. They also do a pretty great Bellini and Asian-inspired cocktails {we love the Dao Tiki}.

You’ll find everyone from families to couples to a group of friends bonding here with a pair of chopsticks in hand.
