Delhi is India's Most Well-Read {Read Nerdy} City, Says Amazon

Kasturi posted on 01 January

Amazon’s list of most well-read cities is out, and guess who topped the list {third time in a row, no less}? Our own dilwalon ki Dilli, and how! With the Jaipur Lit fest, World Book Fair, the Crime Writer’s festival and the Delhi Lit Fest coming up, we can be sure that the trend will continue at least for the next year.

And honestly, we can’t let Bengaluru or Mumbai catch up, can we?

Not only that, it has been a good year for Indian writers {we’re looking at you Amish Tripathi and Robin Sharma}. The only downside seems to be the continuing hype over Chetan Bhagat, but we’re choosing to look on the brighter side. After all, APJ Abdul Kalam’s Wings of Fire is on the list. And so are a bunch of exam prep books, but we aren’t complaining.
