Delhi’s First Vegan Market Is Here & It’s Got Ice Creams, Bags, Beauty Products & More

What Is It?

The city is going to witness its first edition of Eleos, a vegan pop-up market that’s bringing brands across food, accessories, apparel, bath and body products, books and more categories, under one roof.

Who Is It For?

Your heart bleeds at the thought of shampoos being tested on rabbits? Hate folks who wear fur like it’s the best thing in their wardrobe? Or just someone who’s been a meat eater with a guilty conscience, wanting to make a lifestyle change?

Hit up this vegan market to expose yourself to a whole new, animal-loving world {no dairy foods, no animal leather and no products tested on fauna}. Since none of these products tolerate animal cruelty, you can feel like a good human by the end of it.

Hopefully, at the end of a fruitful vegan market stint, you’ll walk out with sweet lovin’ for a vegan bakery or a changed heart that’d never resort to a leather bag again. And, who knows you might even be encouraged enough to ditch butter chicken forever!

Why Should I Go For It?

It’s a good chance to meet start-ups and established brands doing a whole lot of work around veganism. Apart from our old loves like White Cub, Grainny’s and Bakeart, we’re pretty kicked to meet Fruktville’s pineapple mint and thandai popsicles, Sain World’s almond milks, Corkiza’s faux leather bags and tofu specialists like Soy Enjoy.

Oh, ever heard of mock meats? You can begin with Eatiio’s vegicken {they even have a butter chicken mock meat so you don’t have to be that gravy person any longer}. Not impressed? Don’t worry. Queen Bee and Chockriti’s gujjia and thandai flavoured vegan chocolates will make sure you leave in a good mood.

Needless to say, hardcore vegans will also get their fill of cheese, kombucha and quinoa. #NeverForgetTheLoyals
