What Makes It Awesome

We went towards the end of May, and the weather was perfect and moderate, hovering around 20 degrees.

The whole town is surrounded by green hills and snow-capped mountains in the background.
With less population, it is a quiet and calm place to be at for the weekend.

The clean and fresh air of the Himalayas is worth more than just a weekend and one would like to come back here more often.

What's My Pro Tip?

Do carry an umbrella, it may rain anytime in Palampur.

You might even experience hailstorm making the temperature drop down a bit, so do carry some woollens.

Its a 12-hour-long journey, do book some comfortable volvo by HRTC if travelling by bus.

Anything Else?

Do visit the Neugal Cafe, Saurabh Van Vihar or you might just love spending some time sitting next to the stream that flows through the town.

Palampur is situated between Mcleodganj and Bir-Billing, in the Kangra Valley, so don't miss the paragliding at Billing and visit the Monasteries of Mcleodganj.

The total cost of the trip won't exceed INR 7,000 per person.
