Devang House, an all organic, vegan cafe in the heart of Delhi, recently launched a new menu that’s every bit thoughtful and delectable.

This Green Zone’s Beautiful

The place is a haven for those counting calories and going low on carbs. If gluten-free and nutritious is what excites you, you’ll love Devang House.

I suggest grabbing a seat near the pool area to soak in the serenity that envelops this place. The music, wall art and the books add to the charm and make a visit a relaxing, rejuvenating experience.

What I Enjoyed The Most...

Vegan Pizza with Cashew Cream and Grilled Veggies are unique and pretty outstanding in the taste department. The protein-rich Pesto Khichdi with a hint of basil, Vegan Cold coffee, Assorted Halwa, Pumpkin and Bottle Gourd are totally worth ordering too.

In fact, I find Devang’s spin on lacklustre ingredients interesting, for it manages to make even Bottle Gourd look good.

The Deal Clinchers

Everything at Devang is picked from their organic farm. What won me over was the use of a bamboo straw for the Vegan Cold Coffee to keep it eco-friendly.

The Spinach Almond Soup was awesome too – you feel warm and alive from the first sip. Adding the right amount of crunch to it all was the Ragi Chips with Hummus and Salsa – it was freshest salsa I’ve had in days.

The Kale Coconut Walnut Salad with Roasted Pumpkin had leaf, fruit and nuts, making it a perfect combination for an all organic salad. But if you ask me, the real surprise was the Vegan Pizza {the pizza sauce is replaced with cashew cream which is such a delightful variation}.

The Kiwi Chia Pudding, the newest addition on the menu that uses coconut milk as its base, topped with the fruit puree still holds a special place in my heart.
