My favourite place to eat in Delhi finally reopens. I was gutted when Diva Spiced shuttered down in Meherchand Market. It's been my go-to spot for Asian food. And I am so so glad it's back, in a swankier, newer spot in N Block market, 2 doors down from Cafe Diva.
Though the seating capacity is limited, I love the new decor at Diva Spiced. Continues to not be very Asian (those familiar with their older outlet)- and their menu delivers on a modern take on Asian food, too.
I was with a bunch of my friends and we gorged on their Mango and Avocado Salad (exceptional!), Prawn Kasundi Dim sum, Duck Baos, Steamed Chicken and Brown Rice and Glass Noodle, Tofu and Mushroom mains.
Their food is incredible! Super light, super flavourful, and easy on the stomach.
We ordered a bottle of Chianti to go with our meal, but they've introduced a couple of cocktails as well.
Service is awesome- as it is at most DIVA restaurants
Portions are generous. 4 starters and 2 mains were enough for our table.
There are enough options for both veg and non-vegetarian folks.
