What Is It?

A food festival at JW Marriott's Japanese restaurant, Akira Back which is showcasing signature dishes of the restaurants two chefs de cuisine, chef Tomoyuki Kiga and chef Corey Asato.

Who Is It For?

For those of us who want to gain a deeper understanding of what Japanese food is all about. Since the two chefs come from very different backgrounds {chef Kiga was born and raised in Japan, whereas chef Asato comes from the USA}, you'll be exposed to different cooking methods, different tastes and different textures.

Why Should I Go For It?

For chef Kiga's Zenbu Sake Roll which uses every part of the salmon. It comprises sushi rolls, dusted with fish skin sitting atop a citrus-y aioli sauce. And chef Asato's version of deconstructed ramen, which comprises noodles, curry, potatoes, button mushrooms and corn.

Anything Else?

They have an extensive wine list you may want to explore.
