Elderflower Iced Teas, Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake & Fresh Croissants At The Sunday Market

What Makes It Awesome

That it's set in Bikaner House is reason enough to make a visit to The Sunday Market! A curation of food, drinks, crockery, flowers and even kites, The Sunday Market is a great way to kickstart any Sunday morning. I've been for a couple of other organic markets around town; and though "organic" isn't the forte of the market, they've got Altitude Cafe {known for their organic ingredients and products} serving up breakfast and coffee, freshly made butters and sauces to takeaway, Nuxalbari serving Elderflower iced teas and tea packets for home, Liter Basar's fresh croissants and gluten and lactose free coconut cake which is spectacular, and fresh flowers all up for sale. You can sit under one of the canopied areas and enjoy your meal, or pack things up for home- whatever you fancy.

What Could Be Better?

I wish they had more fans and coolers out. I went on an especially hot and humid Sunday and ended up getting stuff to go.

What's My Pro Tip?

They start at 8.30am and wrap up by 1pm from what I saw on Facebook. I think they also switch up the participating vendors every other week/month- you never know what you'll discover at The Sunday Market.

Anything Else?

Walk around Bikaner House once you're done exploring the Market. It's a stunning building, and they've always got some art exhibition going on for you to see. They've also got a Tea Lounge and Chor Bizarre {excellent for Indian food!} if you want to get lunch.
