Art exhibitions have evolved over the years and so has the practice of displaying different cultures. We've all visited art exhibitions but have we ever wondered how it all began? If you're curious to know about the evolution of display culture or you're an art enthusiast yourself, be a part of this interesting webinar on May 13 at 5 pm. The virtual lecture is going to be hosted by Aditi Rakhe, a History of Art graduate from The University of Nottingham, UK. Having started her journey as a curator, exhibition designer and manager in the UK, she subsequently moved to India and worked with the Museum Of Goa, TIFA Working Studios at Pune, and is currently working as a Project Coordinator (Museums Of India) at Sahapedia.
Having been extensively involved in various art exhibitions across UK and India, Aditi is going to be talking about the definitions, types, purpose and the history of display culture. Her presentation will be focusing on all the questions related to the socio-cultural connotations related to the exhibitions, design evolution of these exhibitions and lots more. The donor pass for the event is priced at INR 300 and is set to happen over a Zoom call, the link to which will be shared post registration.
