The aristocratic Deogarh Mahal represents the grandeur of the Mewar Dynasty. It's a great place for a much needed digital detox. One could either take Ajmer Shatabdi (Deogarh Mahal is 145 kms from Ajmer) and then take a cab or enjoy the road trip from Delhi that will take approximately 10 hours. This place was built in the late 17th century and was converted into a hotel in 1996. Every evening there's a Rajasthani dance performance. Mahal has 50 rooms & suites. For couples, I would highly recommend to book their Romantic Escapes package. The local train runs on a metre gauge line. The 17km scenic journey begins from Khambli Ghat station and ends at Phulad station.
