What Makes It Awesome

Visited food truck market at sector 29 this Friday and saw this new place Food Rath parked at the first slot near the entrance. The food truck though simple in appearance has got quite a macho- appeal. Not only is it big, the roof top dining on the food truck was a dream come true.

Have to wait for 30 mins to get the seat on top but it was worth waiting for and the team was very courteous as they got us a seat to wait and served their Shikanji Mojito which was great in taste.

On the top, it was a limited area but they have wisely selected seating to accumulate 12 people. Most of the menu was covered with Indian delicacies from starters, main course, side dishes to dessert and beverages. The rest of the menu had some fusion dishes where they have experimented with international cuisines to give it an Indian punch, as described by Mr. Apurv Goel the co-founder of the company FoodRath Pvt. Ltd.

The company is a food & catering organisation and successfully operates restaurant and catering service other than the food truck. He also explained to us the preparation of a few dishes like their Special Dal Makhani and Tikkas which were delicious.

As I frequently visit some of the great Indian restaurants in Delhi NCR, including the great Bukhara at ITC Maurya, it was not difficult to know that the food was prepared by a five-star experienced chef. So, inquired and came to know that the whole kitchen team has been sourced from one or another five-star property.

Overall, it was a great Indian food experience on the rooftop of a food truck and except some delay in serving Afghani Kebabs and Tikkas, there were no complaints.

What Could Be Better?

Can add soups and salads but as kitchen space is limited in a food truck, don't know if its possible for them as they are already serving more than you can expect from a food truck.

What's My Pro Tip?

Come hungry.
