Floor Culture is a unit of a Gopal Wattal & Co.; run by a family that’s been in the rug business since 1921. Needless to say, you’ll find a variety of carpets here.

It all started in 1921 when Avtar Krishna Wattal started dealing in floor coverings. Almost 95 years later, they’re still manufacturing and exporting {from their workshop in Agra} to more than 100 clients, predominantly in the USA and several European countries.

Having already made a name in the global industry, they’re now all set to open shop in India.

With the help of weavers who have been associated with them for generations, Floor Culture houses rugs, carpets, and dhurries of various types. And since you’ll be purchasing straight from them and not from one of the brands they supply to, you’ll find that these are sold at pretty reasonable and affordable rates {depending on your budget, of course}.

Whether you’re living in a house that is older than you or renting a modern studio apartment, you’ll find carpets and rugs to match with the interiors of your place here. Whether you want something in softer, calmer shades that blend in with the rest of your décor, or something in a bright, lively shade that calls for attention {in a good way}, you’ll find it.

Got a cosy little space and don’t have a great deal of cash to spend on a rug? They have flatweaves starting at INR 1,999, and in sizes as small as 2ft X 3ft.
