There's no time like the present to try a new cuisine, visit an old haunt for an innovative menu, or take in a few cocktails with unusual ingredients. And if all of the above are tied into a larger theme and/or celebration, your dining experience comes with the promise of good memories. LBB has narrowed down the top five food & drink festivals to try this week.

Goût de France {A Taste of France} at West View, The Grill Room

West View will host a dinner celebrating the global French cuisine day, courtesy French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development and Michelin starred chef Alain Ducasse. In addition to dining in their delightful restaurant, you and a fellow diner could also win a short trip to France. You can get more details on that, here.

Where: ITC Maurya, Gurgaon

Price: INR 5000+taxes {per person}

Good France Festival at Le Bistro du Parc

Also celebrating the global French cuisine day, they're doing a special dinner. They're looking to blend contemporary flavours with class techniques to provide a meal that's enjoyable to laymen and French food experts alike.

When: 19th March, 7pm onwards

Where: A – 57, 58, 59 Moolchand Market, Defence Colony

Price: INR 1500+taxes {per person; with alcohol}

Wine_Bazaar_Hungry_Monkey

Wine Bazaar at the Hungry Monkey

For those evenings when just one goblet of wine with your meal won't cut it, head to the Hungry Monkey. Order off their 2015 food menu, and pick out the bottle of vino to go with your meal. Specially designed for wine connoisseurs, the bottles are available at cost price, so it won't pinch your pocket too much either.

When: Every Wednesday, 7pm onwards

Where: The Hungry Monkey, B 6/6 DDA Market, opposite Deer Park, Safdarjung Enclave

Sindhi Food Festival 

If there's one thing you don't see much of in Delhi, it's Sindhi food. With this festival though, you can expect a multiple of Sindhi delicacies! They've got preparations that retain the authentic taste of Sindhi food, and lots of culture and tradition thrown in. Worth looking into, if you ask us.

When: 21st March - 22nd March

Where: PSOI Club Grounds, near Nehru Park

The Burger Fest |

Chili's is doing a month long fest where they let you pick any burger off their menu for just INR 249, which is inclusive of a salad and fries! Did you just sit up in your seats? We did too, when we heard about it. We can practically feel you salivating; wait no more for your burger fix.

When: Till 15th Apr

 Hard_rock_cafe_sizzle_festival

Sizzle Festival at Hard Rock

As the name suggests, all of the items on their special menu are grilled to perfection. This includes dishes like Lime and Tequila Prawns and Lebanese Fajitas. What's more, there's a specific cocktail menu that compliments all the food perfectly {look out for the Smoked Bacardi Gold Sour}. They've also got a team of DJ's spinning retro tunes over weekends, as well as live bands performing in-house. Where: All Hard Rock Cafe outlets in Delhi NCR

Awadhi Food Festival 

There's one thing to say about this, and that is - kebabs, and plenty of them! Savour Lucknowi delicacies at this festival, especially their wide range of kebabs ranging from the Galawat kebab to the Dal ki Shammi. Our mouth is watering already.

When: 15th March - 25th March
