I follow a ton of dog accounts online on Instagram and that’s how I found For The Fur Kids, an awesome initiative by a bunch of dog lovers who are helping dogs find their forever homes through safe adoptions, providing foster care and healthcare to street dogs along with super cute products for dogs and their parents which contribute to their mission of helping all dogs in need.
They have adorable bandanas and bows for dogs in a ton of prints like sharks and pineapples but the ones I loved the most were their Indian Wear ones which were all ethnic-inspired with kalamkari and block prints and even Gujarati mirror embroidery which sounds like the perfect Desi outfit for Diwali or a wedding or just because! Oh, and there’s even a sherwani and anarkali that would make for the best wedding announcement picture (for those of you lucky enough to have two dogs).
Pet parents, they have really cute mugs and sippers with dogs all over them being their general crazy selves. You can also get yourself a Dog Mom / Dad embroidered towel or an adorable dog brooch to wear with everything. The diaries and coasters also make for a great gifting option for the dog-crazy friend you have.
Whatever you do end up getting, the fact that you’re helping a small organisation feed hungry animals makes it an extra special cause to support.
