What Makes It Awesome

This is no ordinary bun. It comes all the way from Malaysia and has a special caramelised crust. The dough is mixed with butter and the crunchy top with a soft inside makes it quite a yum bite.

With 10 different toppings on the menu, it is quite a choice. But then it brings something for everyone. The signature one with Lotus Biscuits topping can appeal to most. This Belgian topping is imported by the way. Another not-to-miss is Nutella with nuts, this crunchy bite downed with aroma tea is quite a satiating one.

If you like something sweeter, then try the strawberry topping which comes with whipped cream. The brand hasn’t forgotten the ones who like a little salt and there is a bun with cheese topping.

The chain is also well known for its beverages. There is a wide choice of smoothies, milkshakes {which have a good amount of cream topping}, juices, teas, and coffees. You can choose your own from nine varieties of aroma teas. We tried Moroccan Night and the minty flavour went well with the warm, creamy, nutty buns.

And the Delhi-NCR outlets offer a wide variety of snacks too. These are just made for the Indian palate. What we had was something different called Double Chow. It comes with a vegetarian and non-vegetarian curry.

A huge box of bread with a stopper, fresh salad, and chicken curry lay on our table. Taking out this bread stopper, we discovered butter chicken curry inside with a chilli and lime and dipped in the curry, this is a meal that most would love.

There’s more such as Egg Benedict, sandwiches pizzas, and burgers. But what intrigued me was Maggi Goreng which is special masala Maggi with poached eggs. I am going to try this next time for sure.

Soft interiors and fresh food, it can make for a good relaxing treat, even as you shop ‘till you drop’ in the huge DLF Mall Of India.

Meal for two: INR 1,500 {exclusive of taxes}.

Anything Else?

The PappaRoti journey began way back in 2003 in Malaysia and the company closely guards the secret of its melt-in-the-mouth flour. It has 400 outlets across the globe and has been brought to Delhi-NCR by Genext V&M International. Co-founder and Managing Director Mehul Gupta says they have plans to open around 10 outlets across the region.
