Chandler, Joey, Rachel and the gang are all coming to the big screen. FRIENDS, season 1, is going to be screened for all it’s ardent fans so you’d better gear up for an evening of laughs. It’s going to be a 6-hour screening with food and drinks all around.
If you’ve ever tried to imitate Joey’s “How you doing’?” or Chandler’s unparalleled wit or Monica’s control-freak behaviour, this is the place to be. From pop culture references to knowing every dialogue line-by-line, wherever you fall on the spectrum, we all owe it to the the 90’s kid in us.
If you didn’t watch this, you lived under a rock for the better part of your years. This 6-hour FRIENDS-a-thon will be accompanied by delicious food and drinks including cheesy lasagne and yes, a whole lotta beer! Central Perk cafe from Hudson Lane is taking over the food charge for the event {the only apt partner, we assume}.
The actual screening will be for 4.5 hours with stand-up comedy acts and behind the scenes footage taking the stage for the rest of it. You’ll be treated to delicious food inside the screening area while the alcohol is only available outside the auditorium—no worries, just chug a beer at intermission and head back! And don’t forget to clap four times at that perfect moment when the theme song plays!
The organisers, Unagi Entertainment {of course, of course}, have gotten the screening rights of the TV series and plan to do multiple events to cover the whole 10 seasons on the big screen. Ready to relive the Friends mania?
