GamingMonk eSports Championship for PC and PS4

What is It?

PlayStation and Ambience Mall are presenting the GamingMonk eSports Championship (GeC). We hear that the event will be featuring competitive and free-2-play zones for gamers and non-gamers.

In what promises to be the biggest gaming event so far, the total prize money is slated to be a whopping INR 4 lakhs. It's going to be featured on two platforms, CS:GO and DOTA 2 will be played for PC, whereas FIFA 16 and Call of Duty Black Ops 3 on the PS4.

The event is going to be 48 hours long {non-stop}, with BYOC LAN parties and running refreshments throughout. There will also be a social gaming area for relaxing. And psst! PlayStation will feature their latest and greatest titles.

Pro-Gamers and gaming enthusiasts from ages 12 to 35 are invited. It is quite family friendly, and some of the games such as DOTA 2 and CS:GO require teams of five, so come in groups.

Why Should I Go for It?

Apart from the participants, the event will have special experience zones and the promise of enjoying new games for free. The participants and visitors don’t have to bring any of their equipment, except for when they are participating in BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer), for which they’ll have to bring their entire PC, with monitors.

Anything Else?

Reworking gaming championships in this edition, this is going to be the biggest LAN gaming affair of the year. Make sure you come aboard. Don't miss it!
