Gastronomica Kitchen and Bar in GK1 gets serious about food with a new menu that comprises innovative pairings of flavours and dishes from across the globe.

Small Plates, Big Impact

Old favourites meet new discoveries in the new menu, and most are met with immediate applause. We love the Kadak Papad Kebab- poppadom beauties stuffed with spinach and cheese. The Ratatouille Cigars are comfort food at its best- cheesy, crunchy and with a secret punch courtesy the accompanying Hajmola chutney.

Seasoned carnivores should make no bones about choosing the Belgian Pork Ribs- portioned to feed ravenous kids, these are double cooked and glazed with a homemade BBQ sauce and yield easily to the touch of your cutlery.

For a dandier meat eater, we suggest the beautifully balanced Wasabi Fish Cakes.

Tank Up

Gastronomica has drinks for all moods and appetites, and we were lucky to try Absinthe during our visit- both classic style poured over sugar cubes, and in a very heady bourbon based tipple that has us smiling post the first few sips.

If you still have space for more, we suggest you head straight to the last page for a sweet surprise. The Chocolate Caramel Turtle Sundae is TDF.

What Didn't Impress Us Much

The pizza kind of ODed on cheese {yes, itā€™s possible!}, overshadowing all the other toppings.

#LBBTip:Ā Head to the terrace for a beautiful dinner under the stars.
