A typical Delhi weekend always starts and ends with movies at multiplexes or hitting the club or a bar for some grueling EDM sounds, you have to force yourself to move to. How about doing something different with your family for a change? Like escaping the monotonous city culture and heading to a farm, not too far, for some fun and games?

Awara Mujhsa Nahi

Okay don’t be fooled by the name. we weren’t crazy about it either but Awara Adventure Farm Resort is your go-to spot for some adventure you definitely can’t experience in the city. The drive isn’t too tedious or far since the resort is located on Sohna Road in Gurgaon.

You’ll be driving on the beautiful rocky and wide hill road of the Aravalis, breathing in some fresh air for sure. Make sure to pack for the weekend, as a day will definitely fall short of what they have in store for you. They basically promote a lot of farm tourism and hence have a lot of indoor and outdoor sports, village themed games and a lot more you can do over the weekend.

Jump, Farm, Swim, Zip Line, Love!

There are plenty of activities, both indoor and outdoor you can indulge in. If you stay in a duplex apartment back in the city and miss farming, then you can farm away to glory. They will definitely share their farming wisdom with you by introducing you to farming activities conducted by experienced people in the field {pun intended!}.

If you like some heavy adrenaline junky stuff they have lots to do there too. You can zip line, or go through a commando net. They also have suspension bridge, Burma Bridge, parallel rope, tyre wall, balance walk and a tarzan swing to get your strength back for the weekend.

Apart from that they have a fabulous pool, so carry your swimsuits. They also promote sports so they’re well equipped with tennis courts, cricket & football ground, volleyball and basketball.

What we really love about the place is them taking us back to our childhoods by organising ethnic village games like pitthu, kanchey, gilli danda, khoko, matka phod etc. Phew, talk about a packed, activity filled weekend!

Anything Else?

They have five spacious rooms so you should definitely book them in advance if you plan to go. The drive isn’t much {depending on which part of Delhi you’d be coming from}. To know more about their packages, tarrifs, activities and accommodation you can check them out here & here.

So get out, get active, bond with your family and thank us later!
