Madison & Pike Starts Summer Baking Classes For Kids

What Is It?

Madison & Pike, a café in Gurgaon, is conducting baking classes for kids to teach them how to knead, frost and glaze. The two-hour-long classes will be held at the café itself.

Who Is It For?

Kids, especially those with an interest in, or knack for baking. Ideally, kids who are seven and above should go for the class, but the owner is willing to accommodate younger children if they are accompanied by their siblings.

Why Should I Go For It?

The classes are being organised by the owner of this reputed café, which churns out some delicious baked goods {go and try it if you haven’t already!}. The kids get to work in a professional kitchen and are given technical knowledge under supervision.

The head chef of the café – Shibaji – conducts these classes with other bakery chefs, while being assisted by Sakshi, the owner of the café. Apart from baking, they also focus on  frosting, because everyone knows that’s the best bit. Each class will accommodate no more than 10 kids so that they receive focused attention.

The best part is that kids get to take home any leftover cookies or muffins, and nobody needs to clean up!

Anything Else?

You need to register for the classes as there are limited spots. Also, if your child has any allergies please inform them in advance. PS: They have Nutella cupcakes and mascarpone choco-chip cookies on the menu for the next class!
