Hand-Crafted Gourmet Ice Cream from Scoops n Sticks

The information in this post might be outdated

If you visited LBB’s Dessert Bazaar earlier this year, chances are you came across Scoops n Sticks {in the far corner of the bar area}, and had to fight off quite the mob to get your hands on some of their treats. If you missed out, we’re telling you where to get your hands on some delicious coolness.

Started by Shoaib Mohammad and his wife, Fatima Naqvi {she’s the chef}, Scoops n Sticks came about after the couple, after their 3 year stay in London, found Delhi lacking in good quality ice cream. Being hardcore ice cream buffs, they decided to take matters into their own hands, and decided to start making their own ice-cream, launching their brand in February this year.

Operating out of Vasant Kunj, Scoops n Sticks takes orders on the phone {the minimum is INR 300} and delivers to your doorstep. What can you expect? Scoops n Sticks does fresh ice cream, using ingredients from across the country {such as vanilla sticks from Pondicherry}. They use absolutely no preservatives, and do a bunch of popsicles in innovative flavours, including aam panna, lemon ginger, and even mojito! There are also some dairy-free versions, in case you’re lactose intolerant or vegan. They also sell scoops, including a lovely orange marmalade flavour, beetroot, mint chocolate chip, and salted caramel, amongst others.

There is a large variety of cream-based, yoghurt-based and sorbet ice creams. They’re currently tying up with a bunch of restaurants across the city so their ice cream will be more accessible soon, and we can expect a proper outlet in the beginning of 2016. Till then, pick up your phone and make that call!
