A little drive through India Gate and Connaught Place, and all the hoardings will have you know that The Handloom House is now open and operational. The All India Handloom Fabrics Marketing Co-Operative Society Ltd has on its roster more than 100,000 handloom weavers and artisans, producing indigenous products, all manufactured from the highest quality cotton, silk, linen and wool.

We won't leave you with just that; when we say products, we're referring to most things you can think of from A-Z. Starting with apparel, you can expect a fine collection of traditional saris, real zari wedding saris, modern silk, prints, crepes, shirts, suits, scarves and stoles, along with a fine repertoire of cotton clothing. Also find linen, bedcovers, runners and other home ware. Extending that home ware repertoire, find ethnic floor coverings, cotton durries, woolen carpets, draperies, tapestries and you know those awesome knick knacks distant family loves to buy you, the ones you probably have no use for? We're almost certain they bought those from Handloom House.
