Breathtaking Views Of Jama Masjid And Cocktails At Haveli Dharampura

The information in this post might be outdated

When Haveli Dharampura opened its doors earlier this year, it was after painstaking restoration work and careful detailing. What used to be a Mughal-style haveli was converted into a beautiful heritage hotel and restaurant, Lakhori.

Kathak performances, kite-flying battles and a stunning dining experience – Dilliwaalas and tourists made the trek to Haveli Dharampura {you actually have to walk the last stretch of the journey to make it to the property}.

Now, the rooftop of the heritage hotel is open to guests and offers panoramic views of Chandni Chowk, while you sip on a drink.

There is also a brand new bar menu that includes some well-loved classic cocktails and an extensive wine list, but the star attractions are their Haveli Signature drinks. Steep in all of the culture and sip on the Dariba Narangi, a potent mix of Tequila, Triple Sec, Orange Juice and Grenadine. You can even enjoy the traditional Kathak shows {on the weekends} from the rooftop, now.

A meal at Haveli Dharampura requires a slight bit of foresight – just because they have so many different options. From Monday – Thursday {lunch and dinner} and lunch on Friday and Saturday, choose from their a la carte menu. There’s a special chef’s tasting menu on Friday, Saturday or Sunday and we’ve heard rave reviews.

We’re also quite excited about their Hi-Tea menu {a pre-decided menu with lots of chaat}, accompanied by a spot of kite-flying.

Reservations are highly recommended – the restaurant fills up pretty quickly as you can imagine.
