What Makes It Awesome
A small 20th century haveli-turned hotel, the location is super convenient, as it falls between the two main sightseeing hubs- Lake Fateh Sagar and Lake Pichola (both are under 3 kms).
The place will charm you with its architecture and royal decor. There are mini courtyards in the centre where you can sit and chill at any time of the day. The terrace though, is the star with a beautiful lake-view and plenty of seating options.
The rooms are clean and the beds are so comfy that you’ll have a hard time not lazing around in them the entire while. Their staff is polite, efficient and quite flexible to your needs. We suggest making your bookings with breakfast included because that was yum. TBH, whatever dishes we tried from their menu (especially the north indian and the snacks), they were cooked to perfection.
Don’t forget to pack your costumes since they also have a cute pool (which kind of looks like a massive tub). We couldn’t help but notice how meticulous they were about its cleanliness.
What Could Be Better
The prices for F&B were a little on the higher side. To give you an idea, two cups of tea and a plate of french fries cost us INR 324.

On a good-weather night, ask them for your dinner to be set up on the terrace. With a starry night, a a lake view and delicious meal on a candle-lit table, they’ll make your night oh-so romantic.
