A little birdie told us {okay, we read this fabulous interview with Mia Lundström, IKEA's creative director of home furnishing, in Vogue} that IKEA is finally making its India debut in the summer of 2017. The bad news: Unfortunately for us, they'll be launching in Hyderabad first with a 900,000 sq ft store.
The good news: Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore aren't going to be far behind, and we'll probably be getting more than one store. Woohoo.
Mia revealed that will be bringing cool India-inspired stuff like chapati tawas and maybe even pressure cookers!
We don't know about you, but we can't wait.
