What is It?
The T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship is a truck racing extravaganza, back for its third year. There are six teams, and 12 drivers, from across the globe, fighting it out on the Buddh International Circuit’s {BIC} smooth, crisp track.
Who is It for?
You would think it is for just racing enthusiasts, but we feel there is appeal for all. How many of us knew about truck racing being such an international phenomenon? Looking to see something new? Huge Prima trucks hurtling down a track at high speed at the BIC are just up your alley.
Why Should I Go for it?
With top racers from the British and European truck racing championships, and an increase in the number of drivers, this year the T1 Prima is bigger than ever! There are two classes – the Super Class and Pro Class – with Indian and international drivers respectively, making for different races of talent and skill.
Anything Else?
The Super Class, consisting of Indian drivers who have had to qualify via the extensive {an initial 132 drivers} T1 Racer Program, will have 17 drivers participating on championship day, gunning to be crowned India’s top truck racer. The Pro class consists of 12 international professional truck racers, fighting it out for the title.
