Started by Swati Rajput as a young, minimal Indian wear brand, Kasheeda’s new collection Kitsch features a mix of Indian and western every day wear with quirky prints.

Print It Like Masaba

A couple of things inspired the Kitsch collection: Swati’s six-year stint in advertising, which infused a good dose of quirk in her head, and social media’s favourite quirky designer—Masaba Gupta.

Sass Up, Sister

They’ve got a mix of apparel, including pleated dresses, palazzo pants, crop tops, kurtas, and separates, in a range of  quirky prints. But their star product is their printed dupatta, which can add instant sass to your plain, boring kurta without having to do much else.

Bold, big, and colourful, the prints range from colourful matchboxes to Catwoman to Shiva. Our personal favourite? The Kali print dupatta. Pair it with a plain black kurta and churidar plus a pair of gorgeous silver jhumkis, and prepare for a lot of ‘Where did you get this from?’

Custom Accustom

If you’ve got a print you love, they will customise that for you in the apparel of your choice for no extra charge {they’re already pretty reasonable to begin with}. So if you love a particular print but would rather see it in a different form {like on a maxi dress instead of a dupatta}, let them know and they’ll stitch one up for you, no issues.

PS: They’re opening up a store in Shivalik, Malviya Nagar soon.
