#LBBReadersChoice: Here's Everything You Loved In 2016

Urvee posted on 28th December

Ten Second Takeaway

We at LBB have had a great year exploring the city, and recommending awesome stuff for all our readers. Here's what you guys have had the most fun discovering in 2016.

January

Last January, our readers were stoked for the Auto Expo, super excited about what the New Year would bring {did any of it come true?}, loved exploring Chor Bazaar with us and were super excited about where to buy the best boots in Delhi.

February

These shops in Lajpat Nagar, this hipster crockery from Chandni Chowk and hidden gems in Noida's Indira Market— February was all about the shopping. Our big list of vegetarian restaurants and these photo-worthy spots in Delhi also bagged top spots.

March

Did you go anywhere in March? A lot of you sure did check out these budget road trips, offbeat weekend getaways and what you may have missed out on in Goa. Didn't go anywhere? You were probably checking off all these momo off our list.

April

We totally fooled you with this Disneyland post {we wish it were true}. Ski India and Puppychino both stole the show when they opened, but some people were sticking to the classics in Connaught Place.

The more adventurous among you were bookmarking and saving this Sky High adventure of a lifetime.

May

You guys proved how much you love Social, while at the other end of the city, Padam Chaat made waves. It was the rise of the food trucks, the death of winter and the appearance of this beautiful ikat cherry blossom and bird print upholstery.

Did you brave the crowds at Harper Collins' book sale? Maybe you went for some delish Afghanistani food later? In any case, some of you were stoked when you learned who the voices behind the Delhi Metro announcements were, and some of you went gaga over Farha Khan's crisp, white ethnic outfits.

July

It was a rainy July, so these perfect rainy-day cafes, and these hot, flaky samosas got a lot of love. We were all also stoked for the Pragati Maidan Stationery Fair — which rained all over our parades {sadfes}.

August

All our beloved thelas in Sarojini Nagar left us {*two minutes silence*} but at least you had these malls in Delhi NCR, and these new spots in Noida's Gardens Galleria.

We all ate this fabulous garlic chhole kulche, though!

We all collectively got the best news ever! And while a bunch of you went exploring forts around Delhi, the rest of you were buying these gorgeous leather and suede bags, and checking out out what you can do in the city for free.

Wow, you guys sure do shop a lot {like us, tbh}. Our budget Dastkar shopping, the big Forever 21 sale, Delhi's cheapest cloth markets, and Ansal Plaza's makeover all made waves with you guys.

PS: Check out what we got from Dastkar's winter mela this month.

You discovered a new, cheap bar, a momo fest, and an open-air film fest. You also checked out our pre-winter shopping from Sarojini Nagar, and our budget finds at the Panchkuian Road furniture market.

#ShaadiSeason arrived in full swing, and so far you guys have shown a lot of love for this Masterji who takes old saris and transforms them into lehengas, these patches for your kurtas, blouses and trousers, this store that stitches clothes in a week, and of course—all cheap-leather-everything at Yashwant Place.

Was there something else you loved in 2016? Let us know in the comments below!
