#LBBEvent! Heritage Walk with GoUNESCO and DelhiGram

The information in this post might be outdated

Remember the last time you had fun listening to a desi tour guide drone on about {and sometimes even invent} the history of iconic sites? Yeah, us neither. This is why we present to you the Heritage Walk — a walk that promises to make heritage fun, by turning it into a treasure hunt! For real. They even have a hashtag and everything.

You had me at treasure hunt!

If there’s one thing you should know, it’s that we love us some treasure hunts. And so, when we learnt that GoUNESCO and DelhiGram were organising this heritage walk in the form of a treasure hunt, we jumped right in with our fanny packs, cameras, and water bottles.

Since no treasure hunt is complete without a bit of friendly competition, you can expect to be divided into teams and definitely some riddles and puzzles to help you move along. And what’s more, they even have special goodie bags for all participants!

You can sign up here. {Spots are limited, so we suggest you hurry!}

If you’re not online, are you there at all?

If you’ve been wondering, this is where the hashtag comes into play. As you go on about learning, discovering, and exploring, you can make use of your microblogging and photo-sharing skills to spread a little heritage love online with the hashtag #makeheritagefun. What’s more? As you go on about spreading the heritage love in Delhi, individuals just like yourself, participating in Heritage Walks in various cities around the world will be doing the same! Neat, isn’t it? We definitely think so.

When: 13th Sep

Where: Qutub Complex, Mehrauli
