#LBBPicks: Where To Get Great Masala Chai In Delhi

The information in this post might be outdated

Is there any joy that can compare to sipping on a hot cuppa during monsoon? I think not. Here are a few of my favourites that I’d like you to try {and you won’t be disappointed!}.

Nandu Tea Stall, Outside Law Faculty

Another North campus favourite, this one is mostly a hub for various society meetings and high pitched discussions. The tea here is amazing and the service is super fast. What better than sipping a hot masala chai in the rain, right?

Price: INR 80 for two {approx.}

Everest Bakery Cafe, Paharganj

Apart from the interesting food options here, EBC offers amazing masala tea {and you can take an entire pot!}. You can chill with your friends or even interact with solo travellers that often visit this place.

Price: The chai costs 70 bucks {for a large pot}

Firdaus Mithai Shop, Chandni Chowk

Chandni Chowk is known for so many treats, and this is just one of the many. A cup of piping hot tea here will energise you for the rest of the day. Don’t forget to indulge in the amazing jalebis they have there too.

Saabir Bhai Ki Chai

BBC recently featured this as one of the best masala chais {and why wouldn’t they?}. Catering mostly to professionals that work in the area, this is a good place for office conversations over some spiced ginger infused tea.

Price: INR 40 for two {approx.}
