Though Urban Ladder specialises in functional and well-designed furniture, their selection of table lamps will light up any living room. Our favourites are their Tripod lamps, which can lend a smashing statement to any corner of your home.

Looking for a funky lamp for your study or work-table? Urban Ladder’s selection of really well-designed {think minimal} study lamps will add that extra dimension to your work space. Our favourite: The Walley lamp that also multitasks as a pen stand. We have also bookmarked their range of cushions and cushion covers, table mats and sheer curtains for future reference.

Animals like Goobe {owl}, Kuruvi {sparrow}, Oinkston {pig} and Jumbo {elephant} serve as a theme for the products here. From owls and sparrows on their night lamps and drop lamps {their Goobe Night Lamp is a must-buy!}, to cute photo stands in the shape of a pig and Jimbo Jumbos napkin rings, there’s enough here to delight you.

While their pen stands and stationery holders are just perfect to brighten up your workspace, we particularly love their kitchen and dining range. Think a crocodile head for a wine holder, Oinkstons salt and pepper shakers and Giraffe Salad Mixer Sets. You’ll also find platters, candle stands, cookie jars and cutesy coasters to stock-up on. If you’re looking to amp up the decor in your living space, pick from their curtains, carpets and cushion covers.

Embroidered cushions, picture frames, mirrors, wall accents, lighting, decorative trays and boxes, jars and canisters; the home decor collection is endless at Jaypore.

We have our eyes on some of their kitchen ware {especially their Jars and Canisters section}, storage and dining goods.

The Dabbawallah lamp {set of 2} is a winner here; you need to get your hand on this pair. Made out of dried Australian Warrier wood, the lamps’ frames consist of threads finely woven around by artisans. There are some interesting wall frames too; we are especially loving the series on junk food with cheeky one liners. Plus, cushion covers, wooden trays and scented candles.

Olie’s floor, pendant, wall and table lamps are all stunners. They’re made out of handwoven banana fibre and cotton {like matka}, and come in beautiful patterns such as kolam {inspired by patterns drawn by Tamil women outside their homes}, florals, and even koi {a type of freshwater fish found in Japan}.

From solid-coloured basics to gorgeous printed ones, Olie’s selection of cushion covers are winners, and so are their napkin sets, table runners and tea towels.

India Circus

One of the earliest brands to jump on the home decor bandwagon, India Circus’s designs are all about the Indian aesthetic. But their collection of wall art, cushion covers, key holders, doormats, clocks, photo frames, lamps, vases and more don’t compromise on the quirk factor, either. We’d also recommend their section dedicated to lush and rich wallpapers {India Shining!}.
