Formerly known as The Benazir Foodie, the brain behind the operation Aditti Ahluwalia has since changed the name of the company to mirror hers, but not much else. Her food is still top-notch and people all over Gurgaon flock to her for her Indian and international fare.

You’ll find Mughlai, Awadhi and Old Delhi cuisine within the former, while the latter holds everything from ratatouille to assorted crepes. For your more civilised guests, there is a generous salad menu as well.

Good to know: Orders to be placed three days in advance. Depending on availability, a kitchen assistant may be possible to help heat and serve. Minimum number of people needs to be 10.

All of Gurgaon has been raving about the biryanis made by the rather famous Smita Sabharwal, and for plenty good reason. Her Kathal Biryani has been pegged ‘to die for’ and has made its way to many plates {and consequently hearts} in Gurgaon. Even the quintessential mutton biryani is magical when it comes from her kitchen. We’d also recommend the prawn biryani.

Good to know: Whether it’s two people or 250 people, Smita will delivered the handis. Orders are cooked only when placed, so you need to provide a lead time of at least two-three hours. Korma, salad and raita are included unless otherwise specified.

K’s Kitchen

With a culinary background down under {we mean Australia}, at the Blue Mountain Hotel, Karan Batra joined hands with his mother, Radhika Batra to keep his great-grandmother’s recipes alive. Expect traditional food that’ll take you back to those lazy afternoons at your grandmother’s house.

They’re known for their Masala Fish Fry, Mutton Irachi Fry, prawn curry and pork vindaloo. We hear the Prawn Moilee is divine as well. They’ve also newly introduced an option where they’ll grill kebabs for you {provided you have an open air grill, that is}.

Good to know: Orders need to be placed 24 hours in advance, at least. For a big enough event, they do live stations as well, but most of their events are 50 people or under. They also send over food for your dogs – just ask.

While they cook all cuisines {and well, may we add}, we’d suggest going to them for an oriental spread, especially their sushi and dim sums, which is what they’re known for— this comes to you from the minds behind Yum Yum Tree. They also do a mean chaat spread, bringing in vendors from all over the country, all of whom have been at their craft for over 20 years, and have their dishes down pat.

Combine that with the superior quality of ingredients Food Inc. provides and you have yourself a memorable feast.

Good to know: They’ll provide wait staff to manage all the food at your event, and they need a minimum of 50 people for each event. Their outer limit goes up to over 3,000 people at a time.

We’ve all heard of, or been to {and enjoyed!} the cuisine and ambience Lodi has to offer. They do European cuisine, and all their chefs comes from five-star hotel backgrounds, so they’re well-versed with producing quality, as well as quantity. Their live counters are a treat, and they’ll provide a fleet of wait staff to ensure your event goes off seamlessly.

Good to know: They cater to events that are hosting a minimum of 40 people, at least.
