Yes Bank Kumaon Literary Festival is a unique literary retreat or “travelling festival” that brings together media persons, authors, thought leaders, activists, political commentators, lawyers and basically, people we’ve grown up admiring.
Its second edition has been scheduled for Oct 11-15 and will see the participants at two different locations: Jim’s Jungle Retreat in Jim Corbett National Park, and Dhanachuli.
Who Is It For?Anyone who’s trying to dig deep into current issues, looking for inspiration or wants to be surrounded by bright minds for days at length.
Checking out the list of prominent speakers here will also tell you if you have a chance to meet them up, close and personal. And finally, it combines two things that make our world go round – books and mountain breeze.
Why Should I Go For It?How can you turn down the offer of listening to bestselling authors and thought leaders with the view of the Himalayas and fruit orchards? The event will be packed with insightful workshops and heated discussions during the da,y and cultural performances and reenactments of Kumaoni ghost stories at night.
