This Lovely Cafe Has Cupcakes @INR 80 And Pot Pies @INR 190

Tucked away in Shahpur Jat, Old Town Cafe is a small cloud of blue with printed lamps, vintage-y fonts and wrought iron windows.

Shahpur Jat visits are like a ride on a magic carpet. There’s hardly a time it doesn’t surprise us with a random cafe or an overlooked boutique.

On our recent trip, we discovered Old Town Cafe. No points for guessing what followed. We stepped in, soaked in the prettiness and walked out with a Belgian chocolate and coffee cupcake for INR 80 each.

The eatery looks like a miniature cake castle with its minty colours, floral accents and white stone walls. While this kind of cosy decor only makes us want to have cupcakes and hot chocolate with marshmallows {they have both}, you can also choose to stick to healthy salads that are priced from INR 190 onwards.

There are also low-carb flatbreads, gluten free quinoa and cous cous and even an all-day breakfast! Basically, something for every type of food-seeker.

This is Elma’s mini-me in terms of space and pricing. So you can buy all the designer stuff in Shahpur Jat and still {hopefully} be left with some money to spare to rest your tired feet and grab quick nibbles here.
