Nature Morte is presenting a solo exhibition of new works by Martand Khosla entitled MesoDomain. Khosla, trained as an architect, works with the process of constructing and with the dilemmas of urban India. He explores transformation and continuity in his work.
You will be able to see his installations and sculptures which use materials such as brick dust, ropes and fabric. His forms directly allude to the issues of planning, shelter, migration, and the moment of contact between order and disorder. Fabulously intellectual work, we hope that you’ll go watch the show, and get some thinking done.
Khosla has chosen the term MesoDomain, because he defines it as the space between known areas, without boundaries, and intangible. This is the state of cities in India today, both physically and psychologically, according to him.
