What Is It?
In the country for the first time, American singer {serenader?} Mike Posner will be in Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi. It’s like he’s already clued in to where the LBB offices are!
They haven't revealed the location yet {although we do know he'll be performing at the Humming Tree in Bangalore on Jan 27}. The icing on the cake is that Prateek Kuhad is the supporting act across the three cities.
Who Is It For?
Basically for anyone who had I Took A Pill In Ibiza {the original and the remix} on loop for the better half of 2016, this is certainly for you.
For the tragically uninitiated, Mike Posner is a pop and RnB artiste who apart from making songs like Cooler Than Me and Please Don’t Go, co-writes songs. Remember Sugar by Maroon 5? Or Boyfriend by Justin Bieber? Yup, he was a writer on them!
Why Should I Go For It?
While he’s not got the glory of awards {yet}, we love Mike Posner for his soulful, stripped down acoustic songs. And this is expected to be an intimate and acoustic gig. Plus, Prateek Kuhad, guys. Naturally, we can’t be happier.
We can just about hear 2017 saying You Think You’re Cooler Than Me to 2016!
