Illustrator Shivali’s got a fun and affordable lifestyle brand that goes by the name Miya Mithu. The cutesy, watercolour-filled nature of it all – the mugs, cushion covers, totes, diaries and posters – will take you right back to your childhood. Also, in her signature comic book style, she’s also open to customisation if you’ve got a message or design figured out in your head.

Worthy Of Many Mug Shots

Whimsy and heartfelt, we like that there’s one thing common between all that she designs: Shivali says that there’s a happy story behind every product. She recreates common life situations and plays with motifs like scooters and tea bags because hey, life’s all about the little joys, right?

While we love the small range she already has with planners and notebooks, we aren’t averse to the idea of getting ourselves a pizza cartoon luggage tag for our next vacation. In fact, totally give her a shout if you want to send an ‘I’m sorry’ card to your bestie {damn those cray mood swings} or celebrate your half year anniversary with bae by giving him a fun comic strip of your journey together… She’s amazing at that kind of stuff.

Check out her Facebook page to get an idea of what her work looks like and if you dig something, make that call and she’ll ship it to your doorstep {across Delhi and NCR} for no extra cost. Anywhere else in India, you’ll pay shipping but on the bright side, the notebooks cost INR 250 and the mugs are even cheaper at INR 199 so would it really be fair to throw a fit about the courier charge? Please say no.

So, We're Saying...
