Ten Second Takeaway

Mom’s Kitchen, situated in the busy hub that is the Kirti Nagar Furniture Market, is a small little café boasting of treats including pastas, sandwiches, biryani, cookies and brownies.

Shopper’s stop for a quick bite

Chances are if you’re in the Kirti Nagar area, you’ve been hunting for the perfect couch or bed, or any other piece of furniture for the last couple of hours and are just looking to crash {into a large mound of food, of course}.

Mom’s Kitchen is unimpressive from the outside to say the least, but we urge you not to judge the café by its exterior.

The DL on the ambience and the menu

Mom’s Kitchen is owned by Harjas Sahni and the kitchen is run by, yes you guessed it, his mom, who used to be a teacher at the Neeta Mehta Academy. The café aims to please with its array of freshly-prepared food, always served with a smile.

Expect fresh chicken sandwiches, omelettes, rolls, momos, pasta, stuffed kulchas and sweet treats such as oatmeal cookies, vanilla muffins and brownies. Wash it all down with their popular cold coffee or one of their shakes {Oreo, oatmeal, Kit Kat, brownie etc}.

So the next time you need a break from furniture shopping, may we suggest you have a Kit Kat shake?
