Unless you’re an otherworldly creature, you probably love long weekends. Naturally, this means that there’s more pizza to order and more evenings to spend in our PJs, but some of us like doing things, okay.
Just so you aren’t left sulking at home, feeling like a failed-planner, we have a list worked out.

Discuss Literature Over Toddy
Prose at Toddy {a monthly series at The Toddy Shop in HKV} is a great place if you like discussing literature with authors and like minded folks in a small, intimate group. This week, they’re calling Delhi-based author, Samanth Subramanian whose recent work is a spectacular book by the title Following Fish: Travels Along the Indian Coast and This Divided Island: Stories from the Sri Lankan War.
The event will activate that grey matter and you’re free to take your arguments to dinner at one of those HKV places you’ve been dying to check out.

Buy Blouses And Kanchipuram Sarees
Whether you’re prepping up for a wedding in the family or just confused about what to gift your mum {or any older relative} for her anniversary/birthday, this shopping opportunity at Aga Khan Hall has a lot in store.
Cotton saris, handwoven beauties, heritage weaves of Kanchipuram with classic motifs, evergreen patterns and the wedding ‘pattu’ – this sounds like paradise. Plus, no one’s stopping you from heading to CP later {even if to console yourself for overspending with cocktails}.

Where: Aga Khan Hall, 6, Bhagwandas Road
