Dreaming Of A Bike Trip To Ladakh? This Mountain Film Festival Will Inspire You

Rene posted on 8th February

What Is It?

A first-of-it’s-kind mountain film festival’s being organised by IMF on its campus. From 10am - 7pm this weekend, it’ll be a movie marathon {with both short and long films} around adventure sports.

Also, you just need to register and turn up… it's literally free of cost.

Who Is It For?

Everyone who’s a mountain goat at heart. If you dig adventure, here’s where to head to watch movies depicting biking trips to Ladakh, ice climbing in Spiti, trekking in Kumaon, kayaking festivals in Kerala and more.

Why Should I Go For It?

It’s happening for the first time in Delhi and it’ll screen some award-winning cinematic works around Himalayan adventures.

Low attention span? Some of them are just four mins long, while certain others tell 90 minutes of thrilling mountain stories that come from filmmakers all across the country. You’ll also be a part of a visual journey that celebrates some of the most untouched parts of the country including Sikkim, Kumaon, Kerala, Meghalaya, Gulmarg, Ladakh and more.

It’ll be inspiring to hear stories of people who’ve ventured out to chase their dreams and we think it might push you to throw that mundane routine down a valley. One can only hope…

Anything Else?

Call or Whatsapp +91 9910501561 or +91 9038422297 to book your spot or write to mountainfilmfestival@indmount.org for passes.

#LBBTip: For the most part, you’ll watch the movies inside the hall, but come evening {6:30 pm onwards}, the screening will shift to the lawn.
