Creating an alternative setting for performance art to thrive, Lost & Found Trust takes the artists out of Sirifort or Kamani and lets them sing, dance, act, recite poetry and show their creative skills at colony parks, people’s terraces and sometimes literally just the road.

In A Beautiful Parallel Universe

The trust just concluded a brilliant Mohalla Festival last month where they celebrated two days of workshops, classical dance, flute and poetry recitals, theatre and music gigs with Vasant Kunj peeps who could stroll in and sit for as long as they wanted {free entry, yes!}.

A gazebo in Vasant Kunj also had a workshop where people could learn to make their own instruments out of bamboo.

In general, the trust has hosted countless other evenings on a similar format where Odissi dancers took to a park, people were invited for a night walk, immersive theatre performances were hosted in RK Puram and more.

So, We’re Saying…

We love this inclusive, more accessible nature of art and the fact that we have an excuse to turn up for a music gig in our PJs, with a mug of hot chocolate in hand.
Don’t like being a passive audience? Lost & Found also has workshops, night photography classes and more hands-on stuff – keep track of upcoming events on their Facebook page.
