What is it?

Nepal Literature Festival has been designed to feed intellectual curiosity, analytical musings and cultural interests. Some of the most creative minds behind Nepali literature will congregate at the festival and talk about everything from literature, art, theatre, film and business to economics and politics. With over a 100 national and international authors and literatti, and more than 30 interactive sessions, this is one event you can take out time for.

Who is it for?

Every bibliophile and book lover can go, since this is a free event. If you can get a couple of days off, this is a trip worth making. And the best part? You don’t even need a visa. {Just like these other countries!}.

Why should I go for it?

The festival has hosted some really well-known writers, like Vinod Mehta, Shobhaa De, Amish Tripathi, Farah Ghuznavi, Annie Zaidi, Carlo Pizzati, Sir Mark Tully, Tishani Doshi and more. The festival will give Nepali writers much needed international exposure, and we will get a glimpse into their gorgeous writing too!
