Amreli in Hotel Diplomat |

A novel and delicious addition to Delhi’s culinary arena – enter Amreli at Hotel Diplomat. The space emanates cheer. The walls are covered with art, the furniture is a quirky mix of styles, and the crockery has been custom-made. It even has a separate bar area with fancy wallpaper. The menu has been carefully crafted to leave you satisfied at any time of the day. It features fabulous breakfast dishes such as Homemade Granola, which comes with raspberry yoghurt, cherry compote, organic honey and pastry cream, and {our favourite} Keema Eggs Benedict. It progresses to fresh and healthy salads, soups, burgers, paninis, and really unusual but amazing Indian food. Rann Filo {our other favourite}, Galouti Kebab Burger, Egg Appams with gunpowder dust, and Tandoori Aloo Bravas, for example. The desserts are worth every calorie. The table unanimously declared that Amreli serves the best Crème Brûlée in the city, and the Death by Chocolate is a boozy mix of everything that is good about chocolate. So head out to this delightful nook, and savour the genius {we hear there will soon be a patisserie next door}.

SodaBottleOpenerWala in Khan Market |

We hate it when Gurgaon gets the goods and Delhi loses out. SodaBottle was one such gem G town was proud of, and a Parsi meal meant us Dilliwaalas would have to make the trek. Oh hey Delhi, SodaBottle is making the trek instead, and coming soon to Khan Market. Everything’s on the DL about when and where, but trust that we’ll fill you in as soon as we hear.
