As people always looking to fill their walls {more soft boards and boring paintings of animals in motion are a strict no no}, every time a design house fills the void on our walls, and hearts, we take it upon ourselves to introduce them to as many people as we can. We take great pleasure in introducing Half Horn, a space for affordable art work, available across myriad canvases {read:products}.
Three friends pooled in their hopes, aspirations, and endeavours to create a space, or rather medium for creative expression. Enter Half Horn, a unique platform for collaborations, and to help empower artists create strong brand identities. Half Horn is a space for original art work and/or graphics, which then go on to be printed across products. On sale currently are iPhone cases, and unframed and framed pieces of the featured art work. Although we hear it's all sourced art work, the designs tend to all follow an understated, vintage-esque, kitschy aesthetic. You'll find the occasional motivational saying gone witty, or popular quotes by famous authors, but our vote definitely goes to the minimalist phone covers, especially the vintage phone dialer cover, and the Let's Go Unanchored nautical inspired one. Although there's something cute about the "Im Very Font of You' art work; get it? As for artists looking to contribute, the platform is always open to new contributors, and the system in place for collaborations is very transparent. All you have to do is log on to submit your designs.
From having nothing to put on our walls, or on our beloved smart phones, to being so spoilt for choice. Wonder what we should wish on next. Any ideas?
