Chanel Beauty comes to town

Right next to beauty favourite Bobbi Brown comes another store designed to please – Chanel’s fragrance and beauty store. They started as a pop-up at Select Citywalk, but now have a permanent, a 550sq ft. space, delivering Chanel’s complete beauty range – skincare, perfumes and cosmetics. They have in-house make up specialists and skincare experts, so pop in for free skin-specific advice and lessons in professional make-up application techniques. Although, fair warning, the crew over at Chanel definitely plays hard to get and will not entertain you unless they sense you’re serious about buying. Our advice: invest in their foundation; still a front-runner across brands and different buys.

Made of leather, the platform collection currently comes in three versions – plain black, black and white, and tan and white.  This is just the first of what’s to come from Bodice’s shoe collection. Ladies, expect leather flats, sandals and more versions of their platforms. We’re also told canvas footwear is a part of their future plans.
